Los hermanos Valleto (Guillermo , Ricardo y Julio) tuvieron un estudio abierto en la calle Plateros nº 14 de Méjico. Se dedicaron especialmente al retrato como en el caso presente una álbumina sobre cartón de tamaño grande.Sus retratos fueron tanto de las clases altas mejicanas como de los artistas y toreros españoles que visitaban esas tierras. Tuvieron una mención en 1876 en la Exposición de Bellas Artes
Como es habitual en esta época se dispone a las personas delante de un gran telón de fondo, los vestidos nos indican que son gente acaudalada. Es una fotografía de gran encanto destacando las dos jóvenes bajo la sombrilla.
