El eje del Documento se centra en la gestión y documentación de los derechos de propiedad intelectual del patrimonio fotográfico y, por lo tanto, se aborda desde la perspectiva y las peculiaridades del documento fotográfico. Sin embargo, muchos de los aspectos tratados pueden ser de utilidad para otros tipos documentales u otro material que también sea objeto de propiedad intelectual (por ejemplo, dibujos, carteles, mapas, etc.). Si bien, los mismos pueden ser abordados en futuros estudios específicos.El Documento se ha realizado eligiendo como laboratorio de estudio el Archivo General de la Administración (AGA), dado el enorme volumen de documentos fotográficos que custodia y por la variedad de formas de ingreso y adquisición de sus archivos, fondos y colecciones fotográficas. Asimismo, para el análisis no se han seleccionado todos los fondos o colecciones fotográficas del citado Archivo, sino que se han escogido cuatro archivos o fondos, de diferente procedencia, volumen y características, como muestra para realizar el estudio que ahora presentamos
El Bloque A comprende Directrices y Procedimientos para la Documentación y registro de los fondos y colecciones fotográficas que custodia una institución y para la tramitación de adquisición o ingreso de nuevos fondos o colecciones.
El Bloque B comprende Directrices y Procedimientos para la Documentación y registro de fotógrafos, titulares de los derechos de propiedad intelectual y plazos de protección del patrimonio fotográfico que custodia la institución.
El Bloque C incluye Directrices y Procedimientos para establecer las condiciones de consulta, uso y reutilización de los fondos y colecciones fotográficas. Diferencia entre los usos y la difusión que puede realizar la propia organización sobre su patrimonio fotográfico y los usos que pueden realizar usuarios externos a la misma.

The axis of the Document focuses on the management and documentation of the intellectual property rights of the photographic heritage and, therefore, it is approached from the perspective and peculiarities of the photographic document. However, many of the aspects discussed may be useful for other types of documents or other material that is also the subject of intellectual property (for example, drawings, posters, maps, etc.). However, they can be addressed in future specific studies.The Document has been made by choosing the General Administration Archive (AGA) as the study laboratory, given the enormous volume of photographic documents that it guards and due to the variety of forms of income. and acquisition of its archives, funds and photographic collections. Likewise, for the analysis, not all the funds or photographic collections of the aforementioned Archive have been selected, but four archives or funds, of different origin, volume and characteristics, have been chosen as a sample to carry out the study that we now present
Block A includes Guidelines and Procedures for the Documentation and registration of the photographic funds and collections that an institution keeps and for the processing of acquisition or entry of new funds or collections.
Block B includes Guidelines and Procedures for the Documentation and registration of photographers, holders of intellectual property rights and terms of protection of the photographic heritage that the institution guards.
Block C includes Guidelines and Procedures to establish the conditions of consultation, use and reuse of photographic funds and collections. Difference between the uses and dissemination that the organization itself can make of its photographic heritage and the uses that external users can make.
