La Casa de Pilatos se encuentra en Sevilla y es uno de los mejores ejemplos de Palacios andaluces.Su origen se remonta al siglo XV y mezcla los estilos renacentista y mudéjar.
Hoy día pertenece a la Casa de Medinaceli.
Este patio tiene una fuente en el centro y dos estatuas de la Diosa Palas en sus esquinas. En las galerías del Patio se encuentran bustos de emperadores y otros personajes importantes de la época.
Esta foto, albúmina sobre cartulina , pertenece a un álbum titulado "Seville" que fue comprado en Canadá. Este tipo de álbumes alcanzaron bastante auge a finales del siglo XIX y siendo Sevilla una de las ciudades más visitadas por su caraácter monumental no es de extrañar que se publicaran álbumes en idiomas diferentes al español para los turistas europeos y americanos.
El fotógrafo es E. Beachy uno de los grandes fotógrafos sevillanos miembro de una saga de fotógrafos que dominaron la escena sevillana durante un largo período de tiempo.
..............El estudio perteneció al fotógrafo francés Jules Beauchy Perou, que castellanizó su nombre como Julio Beauchy al asentarse en Sevilla, primero en el 102 de la calle Sierpes regentando un bazar, hasta adquirir el número 30 de la misma calle donde vendía material fotográfico. Allí comienza su actividad como fotógrafo a partir de los años 50. A principios de los 70 se asocia con Antonio Rodríguez Téllez, hasta que el negocio pasa a manos de su hijo, Emilio Beauchy, que se especializa en la fotografía de tipos y monumentos, considerado como uno de los pioneros del fotoperiodismo español........
