Fotografía que representa el Monte Arrate (según su etimologia "entre piedras") en un dia nevado.
Al fondo se ve el Santuario de la Virgen de Arrate, patrona de Eibar.
Este Santuario tiene su origen en 1498, la imagen de la Virgen de estilo gótico es de la misma época. En el Santuario se conservan varios cuadros del pintor Ignacio Zuloaga vecino que fue de Eibar.

El fotógrafo escoge un punto bajo para la imagen dando mayor protagonismo a los arboles , para merced a ello, conseguir profundidad en la imagen. Al fondo se observa el Santuario.
