Fotógrafo Ribera LLopis. Fotografía antigua Estación de Francia Barcelona. Vintage photography France Railway Station Barcelone















Esta fotografía recoge el final de la construcción de la Estación de Francia, la segunda en importancia en Barcelona.

Su construcción , de estilo modernista, se realizo entre 1925 y 1929, fue obra del arquitecto Pedro Muguruza e inaugurada por Alfonso XIII en 1929
Es una de las pocas estaciones con este estilo en funcionamiento en Europa con detalles incluso de lujo como son mármoles y vidrieras.
La imagen de obras nos permite fechar casi con exactitud la foto en 1929, el fotógrafo escoge un ángulo que nos permite ver tanto la edificación en su exterior como las obras de acondicionamiento de su entorno.

Al dorso lleva el sello del fotógrafo Ribera Llopis ( 1878-1948)  del cual he conseguido pocos datos biográficos si bien parte de archivo fue donado, por su hijo el también fotógrafo Francesc Ribera al Archivo fotográfico de Barcelona.
