- Las fotos son obra del fotógrafo Martino del cual apenas hay datos. Se sabe que Martino era cuñado de Tomé fotógrafo de Ourense.
- Las fotos fueron un encargo de la Comisión Provincial de Monumentos de Ourense y pertenecen a un álbum formado por 59 fotografias.
- Una de las personas que aparece en las fotos es Manuel Hermida, ayudante de Martino, puesto a su disposición para las cuestiones técnicas por la Comision Provincial de Monumentos
- Las fotos se realizaron en 1984. Se hicieron diez copias de los negativos de los cuales se hayan localizados 6 copias en mal estado.
- En 1899 se encarga a Jose Pacheco la reproducción de las fotografías para lo cual realiza un nuevo negativo. No se conoce si existen de copias de este negativo
