Existen géneros en los cuales el fotógrafo tiene difícil su actuación profesional pues todas las posibilidades del tema han sido ya tratadas anteriormente por otros artistas.
Sin embargo también es posible encontrar magníficas fotos en temas tan trillados como son las fotos de boda.
En la primera de las fotos vemos una imagen triple de una mujer con vestido de boda, foto hecha en el estudio del fotógrafo.Kaulak ( Antonio Cánovas del Castillo).Con el movimiento de la mano que juega con el velo, la postura de la mujer y los giros del cuerpo logra hacer una magnífica foto en tres tiempos. Foto que, si fuera hecha hoy día, diriamos que es de total actualidad. La foto se puede fechar hacia 1910.
Claro está que Kaulak fue uno de los grandes retratistas españoles del siglo XX, Franzen fue, en su tiempo, su mayor rival.
El estudio de Kaulak alcanzó gran desarrollo desde principios del siglo hasta la Primera República y por el pasaron la aristocracia, los políticos y los artista de su tiempo. Curiosamente durante la Guerra Civil siguio en funcionamiento gestionado por un alemán y llevado técnicamente por un antiguo empleado suyo con lo que se mantuvo en actividad siempre.
El estudio con posterioridad a la guerra se mantuvo en manos familiares hasta 1999. Gran parte de su archivo ha sido adquirido por el Estado.
La segunda de las fotos es otro retrato de boda, de un gran estudio fotográfico, el estudio Alfonso.
Esta foto, de gran elegancia en su sencillez, está hecha en Madrid, en plena guerra civil (1937), en el estudio que los Alfonso tenian en la calle Santa Engracia de Madrid. Es más lleva una carpeta de cartulina blanda que lo protege permitiendo su conservación y dando una cierta calidad de lujo a la foto al mismo tiempo que facilita su conservación.
En el estudio Alfonso participaron Alfonso Sanchez García el creador del mismo que dirigió el estudio durante largo tiempo, con el colaboraron sus hijos Alfonso Sanchez Portela "Alfonsito" el más destacado de todos cuyas obras no se distinguen en algunas ocasiones de las de su padre .Con menor importancia también trabajaron sus hermanos Luis y José.
En la época de esta foto y, como consecuencia de la guerra, los locales estaban incautados por la "Sociedad Obrera de Fotógrafos y similares". Aún asi siguieron haciendo fotos que son verdaderas obras de arte.

Este valioso conjunto fotográfico, fue creado por la Junta de Defensa de Madrid como Fondo propagandístico para denunciar los desastres de la Guerra Civil. La recuperación y conservación del folklore de las diferentes regiones de España fue la tarea primordial de los grupos provinciales y locales de Coros y Danzas de España creados a partir de 1939, dentro de la Sección Femenina del Movimiento Nacional. Pero su objetivo no era simplemente cultural, sino que además fue un importante instrumento de propaganda y exaltación pública de patriotismo puesto al servicio del régimen franquista. Grupos de Coros y Danzas de todas las provincias rivalizaron en campeonatos y concursos regionales y nacionales, e incluso, desde 1948, las agrupaciones más destacadas realizaron giras internacionales, actuando en embajadas y centros culturales de otros países. Los trabajos de preservación del acervo popular, y principalmente, las actuaciones en los diversos Concursos Nacionales fueron recogidas en numerosas grabaciones realizadas por los equipos técnicos del Noticiario NO-DO a instancias de la Delegación Nacional de la Sección Femenina.
Gran parte de estas grabaciones, un total de doscientas treinta y cuatro, pueden contemplarse en esta página Web del Ministerio de Cultura. Las imágenes están asociadas al lugar de origen de cada una de las danzas y ofrece información complementaria como la fecha de su filmación o datos referidos a la agrupación folklórica que hace la exhibición. Uno de los más importantes fondos fotográficos españoles, el del estudio
Kaulak, se encuentra en la Biblioteca Nacional de España. Fue creado por
Antonio Cánovas del Castillo Vallejo en octubre de 1904 y consta de positivos,
negativos, álbumes y objetos diversos relacionados con el trabajo habitual en
la galería. Su valor es excepcional para la historia de la fotografía y la
iconografía hispánica, ya que prácticamente la totalidad de las fotos son
retratos de la familia real, aristócratas, políticos, militares, escritores y
artistas. Es objeto de este trabajo analizar los contenidos de los once álbumes
denominados “Archivo de la Fotografía Kaulak”, compuestos por 6.729 retratos de
personajes del primer tercio del siglo XX. Para ello se ha obtenido información
sobre la cantidad y calidad de las imágenes, se han determinado la tipología y
características de los retratos, se ha elaborado un listado de los escenarios
(fondos, mobiliario y accesorios), y finalmente se ha generado un índice
alfabético de los personajes identificados con referencia a los números de
álbum y a los positivos correspondientes
