Fotografía y pintura. El tema.Albert Levy photographer Edward Hopper painter

Pictures of Albert Levy (1844-1907)
Paintings of Edward Hopper (1882-1967)
Hopper knew know if Albert Levy's work but I think one of them, Levy, French-born, photographed the homes of the American landscape as an important theme in his work.
Another, Edward Hopper, years later, he painted the same subject with views, in my opinion, similarss. That is, elected houses, usually isolated, often without people in the landscape. Both dignified the American landscape.
Somehow Hopper is considered one of the creators of this american landscape, however, the photographers had already gathered with their cameras years ago the same points of view
That is, two or many artists can do with their personal characteristics, a topic in similarly artistic manners
The two artists were being trained, and lived, in France and the United States.
Albert Levy, a Frenchman by birth, did much of his photographs in the United States. Edward Hopper spent several seasons in France (Paris).
