Documentos sobre fotografía: Autor Juan -Miguel Sánchez -Vigil. Documents about spanihs photographers, biography, XIX_XX century
Son pocos, más bien muy pocos, los autores dedicados a la historia de la fotografía cuyas publicaciones son de interés directo para los coleccionistas o amantes de la fotografía antigua.
Entre ellos destaca la labor de D. Juan Miguel Sánchez Vigil, autor de numerosas publicaciones.

La fotografía: patrimonio e investigación
Escribió Unamuno que la personalidad tiene tres miradas: la nuestra
o como nos vemos a nosotros mismos, la de los demás o como nos ven los otros, y una tercera que se encuentra en el centro de la balanza y que se considera objetiva, es decir lo que somos en realidad. Si aplicamos esta máxima a la fotografía, al contemplar el contenido resultarán también tres visiones: la pretensión del autor, lo que observa el receptor, y lo que realmente muestra la imagen. Es en la segunda mirada donde entran en juego los intereses particulares que deben responder a las necesidades (qué, quién, para qué, cómo, etc.).
Consecuencia del análisis son los usos y aplicaciones, y la fotografía hasido empleada en tres campos diferentes: histórico, privado y público.
