Sería también el joven Gudiol quien sugiriera a Teresa Amatller la
estructura de la fundación que esta quería constituir, teniendo en cuenta una cláusula
del testamento de su padre, en el que se especificaba que si Teresa moría sin
descendencia la casa y les colecciones se convertirían en un museo bajo tutela
del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona.
De esta forma nació, el año 1942, la Fundación Instituto Amatller de Arte
Hispánico, basada en el modelo de la Frick Collection y la Frick Art Reference
Library de Nueva York, y como finalidades estatutarias principales la
conservación de la casa y las colecciones Amatller y la propulsión de la investigación
de la historia del arte hispánico. Como dotación fundamental para la nueva entidad,
la fundadora adquirió el Archivo Mas (1902-1941), un importantísimo fondo de
negativos del patrimonio histórico-artístico
español reunido por Adolf Mas Ginesta (1860-1936) y su hijo Pelai Mas i
Castanyeda (1891-1954). Gudiol, director de la fundación, aportaría su propio repertorio

Y posteriores incorporaciones de varias procedencias incrementarían el fondo
hasta superar los 360.000 negativos. Además de este material gráfico, la fundación
cuenta con una biblioteca especializada en
arte hispánico con más de 30.000 títulos.

materia
La fototeca está integrada por instantáneas procedentes del fotógrafo
Kruz, postales antiguas, cesiones de particulares diversos, expedientes
propios del Servicio..., de las cuales han sido digitalizadas en
sucesivas campañas, contratadas al efecto, unas 55.000 imágenes (a fecha
de marzo de 2014) que irán aumentando en fases sucesivas..
El Archivo Municipal se ofrece a facilitar en sus dependencias copias de
mayor calidad a quien lo solicite, debiendo abonar el importe de las
mismas.

Bienvenido al fondo fotográfico de la Biblioteca Pública Municipal Juan Pasquau y del Archivo Histórico Municipal de Úbeda.Desde aquí podrá acceder al fondo fotográfico conservado tanto en la Biblioteca Pública Municipal de Úbeda como en el Archivo Histórico, fondo que está siendo digitalizado como el resto del Archivo. El propósito de la difusión de este modesto conjunto fotográfico es poner a disposición de los ciudadanos de Úbeda y de todos en general las imágenes conservadas de nuestro entorno inmediato que, por estar «congeladas» en nuestros fondos, acaso han tenido una difusión menor que otras colecciones.

La Fototeca del Archivo Histórico Ferroviario conserva
imágenes con una temática tan variada como notable para el
estudio de la ingeniería ferroviaria, arquitectura, material
motor y remolcado, empresas constructoras, personal ferroviario,
paisajes y un largo etcétera de motivos y argumentos
ferroviarios plasmados en una imagen. Podemos encontrar diversas
tipologías, soportes, formatos, procedimientos, contenidos y
autorías, teniendo como fechas extremas desde 1858 hasta la
actualidad.
