Como he comentado varias veces en este blog he dedicado bastante tiempo a estudiar la vida y obra de Albert Levy.
- Si usted utiliza la herramienta de búsqueda de este blog podra encontrar varios post sobre el tema.
Pues bien es recomendable, cada cierto tiempo, retomar búsquedas antiguas para ver si aparecen más datos por la propia ampliación de bases de datos, referencias etc en Internet.

Incluso había contactado con un anticuario inglés que tenía un ejemplar en venta. Dado lo elevado del precio no llegué a ningún acuerdo pero me envió unas fotos que, a pesar de su baja calidad, pongo a continuación como muestra.
En este caso, a diferencia de otros, el nombre del autor aparece en la primera página del índice
Pues bien el resultado de mi búsqueda actual fue encontrar que el Museo Getty, el mayor y mejor museo de fotografía del mundo ha adquirido varias obras de este fotógrafo (hace años cuando les hice la consulta no tenían ninguna de ahí que pueda hacer esta afirmación ahora).
- En resumen mi consejo es que si buscan información sobre un fotógrafo hagan una revisión de vez en cuando en Internet pues es fácil encontrar nuevos datos

Albert Levy was a French photographer born in 1847, who studied and practiced in both the United States and Europe. These two series were printed in New York by Albert Levy and contain images from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Washington, D.C. Each photograph is numbered and identified on a
list that includes the type of building, location, and name of the architect(s). There are a total of 54 silver gelatin prints (9.5 x 7.75 inch) in this collection.
