Como coleccionista, modesto coleccionista, uno piensa que su propia labor de coleccionismo es, también, una labor artística en el sentido de conservar el arte.

Ahora bien la función de conservar, mantener y enseñar el arte la tienen principalmente los museos. En realidad debería decir el Estado, pero me gusta mas decir los museos. Y conste que, cuando hablo del Estado, estoy pensando en todas las personas que vivimos en ese Estado y que deberíamos tener la "tradición" de transmitir  el arte a las generaciones siguientes.

Pues bien ahora la Fundación Sorolla solicita fondos para adquirir un cuadro de Sorolla que complete los fondos del Museo.

Descripción del proyecto

Desde la Fundación Museo Sorolla queremos adquirir el cuadro Almendro en flor, obra de primera época del pintor, y regalarla al Museo Sorolla, para que todos puedan disfrutarla en sus salas.

Solo con vuestra colaboración podremos conseguir rescatar esta obra del ámbito privado y ponerla a disposición de todos los mecenas y visitantes.

Sin embargo lo que me llama la atención no es sólo la operación de crowfunding que está realizando la Fundación sino,además, el buen diseño de la misma.

• Tu nombre y el de quien elijas en la sección Con Sorolla, ser mecenas está a tu alcance.
• Quedarás vinculado para siempre a la adquisición de la obra, apareciendo en su ficha catalográfica.

• Podrás disfrutar de la obra Almendro en flor en el entorno del Museo Sorolla el día que tú elijas.

Es decir, en la práctica por 10€ nos sentiremos, sencillamente y no es poco, útiles para el arte, para compartir el arte.

Además, lo digo con una sonrisa, no olvidemos que Sorolla fue un gran pintor, yerno de fotógrafo, fotógrafo aficionado y fotógrafo coleccionista además de modelo de muchos grandes fotógrafos. 

Vamos que si por esa cifra podemos comprar una foto antigua también podemos donar para que, pedacito a pedacito, un Sorolla llegue al Museo
