Garry Winogrand, had virtually ontological implications, as suggested in the carefully chosen language of his well-known statement, that “I photograph to find out what something will look like photographed,” or, to elaborate it clumsily, “I photograph [at a given moment] to find out what something will look like photographed [when I eventually have the opportunity to study it in an undetermined future].”

Photography is not about the thing photographed. It is about how that thing looks photographed,”

It is always good to receive good news, such as those that will be produced on December 1 in the Museum, Lázaro Galdiano Foundation.
Indeed on that date inaugurates

Prints by Goya
The admiration that Jose Lázaro Galdiano professed for Goya made him forge one of the most complete and important collections of graphic work dedicated to this genius of painting. The GOYA exhibition. Graphic work shows for the first time to the public a selection of prints in room 6 of the MuseumLázaro Galdiano from December 1, 2016 and until February 12,2017. • The tour of the exhibition will include more than thirty selected works, among the almost one thousand prints that this collection holds,

New lighting in two rooms.
Thanks to the sponsorship of the Autric-Tamayo family, the remodeling and new lighting, with LED technology, of room 13 of the Lázaro Galdiano Museum, dedicated to Goya and his contemporaries, and the room 6 that welcomes this extraordinary exhibition
On this last section, I would like to thank the private donation whose effect, I suppose, will be spectacular in the vision of the works as it has been a similar performance in the Goya of the Prado Museum.

I want to get to see the moment when this museum, splendid for its funds, get to have this ilmination in all its rooms ... especially in those of the first floor (virgins, reliefs, jewels, etc.)
As for Goya, his engravings, I can say little but I will dare apply to the engravings of Goya, which embody the outside world and even those who embody the dreams of the inner world, quotes from the photographer Garry Winogrand I was just reading at the time of making this post
