En el mes de Junio  en Madrid, con su calor, hay que aprovechar el tiempo para ver las exposiciones de PhotoEspaña 2016.

Tras los pasos de Inge Morath. Miradas sobre el Danubio

Proyecto expositivo fotográfico y documental que rinde homenaje a la figura de Inge Morath , una de las primeras mujeres fotógrafas en entrar en la agencia Magnum Photos. Con treinta años, inició su mítico trabajo fotográfico so­bre el Danubio, que tuvo que finalizar a partir de la década de 1990 por no poder acceder a ciertos países a causa del Telón de Acero.

En verano de 2014, ocho jóvenes fotógrafas, de diferentes nacionalidades y reconocidas con el premio de fotografía Inge Morath, trazaron el mis­mo itinerario que esta pionera de la fotografía do­cumental, desde el nacimiento del Danubio, en Alemania, hasta su desembocadura en el mar Negro, Rumanía.

 

Esta es una de esas exposiciones que uno va a ver, mirar, con expectativas muy altas que luego, quizás precisamente por eso, no se cumplen, no acaban de gustarnos las fotos, el proyecto, que queda más que nada en una sucesión de fotos. Sí algunas muy buenas pero que vistas en conjunto "no llenan" quedan a medio camino.

De las fotografas que participan en el proyecto por destacar alguna la que fotografió animales.

 

Luego hay que pasar a ver la exposición de Torres García uno de los grandes pintores latinoamericanos del siglo dueño de un estilo muy propio. Me gustaron sus cuadros, al final de la visita, blancos y negros.
